'The Gasometer'

The Gasometer, located in the Dublin 2 Gasworks area and now called the Alliance building was once a gas storage station for the ESB. Now its striking structure holds 240 apartments. It is visible from South Lotts and Barrow Street and most of the surrounding area and home to many Google and Meta workers based in the 'Silicone Docks' area of Dublin which is a stone's throw away in the area in and around the Grand Canal Dock basin. 

Created in Sandymount, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Painting information: 

This artwork was created using the highest quality watercolour paints by Schmincke, oil based polychromos pencils by Faber-Castell and fine liner ink-pens.

The ground for this artwork is Arches 300gsm, Cold Pressed, acid free, cotton paper.
