'An Irish Hero'

This Irish Landmark print is created from an original art work by Irish artist, Steven Farrell.

Located in the GPO Dublin, this drawing, is of the beautiful bronze statue of Cú Chulainn the warrior hero of ancient Ireland one of the best know heroes from Celtic mythology and Irish folklore.

The statue can bee seen in the indoor of the GPO on Dublin's O'Connell Street, one of Dublin's busiest tourist areas it is definitely one of the places to visit in Dublin.

This fine art print is part of a collection called 'A Candle in a Window' after the tradition of the Irish President, who keeps a candle continuously lighting in the window of the Áras an Uachtaráin (home of the Irish President):

No matter where you are in the world,
No matter how long you have been gone from Ireland's shores,
There will always be a candle in a window,
Its light to guide you home.

This print of an Irish landmark is a perfect gift to remember Ireland by if you've visited or, even if you live in Ireland and want to be reminded of the wonderful, rich history of this beautiful Island.
